This foundation, whose mission is to take in, educate, train and integrate young people with serious social, family and affective difficulties, currently has 160 centres in France, representing a total of 9,000 young people from the age of 2 to 25.
The project concerns the creation of a Robert Abdesselam tennis school at la Maison Notre Dame de la Fondation d’Auteuil. This will provide 18 young people with the opportunity to play 2 hours of tennis per week. La Maison Notre Dame is to make the 4 existing tennis courts available, select 18 young people from 8 to 20 and accompany the young people in this activity (a youth care worker is to assist the tennis teacher).
The René Lacoste Foundation will subsidise this tennis school.
