Le Centre de promotion du Golf de Djerba, centre for the promotion of golf in Djerba, opened its doors in March 2006
Its aim is to offer young Tunisians from poor backgrounds, living in the neighbouring villages, the opportunity to play golf.
2 campaigns have been launched, the first involving 10 children who train every Saturday, the second involving 21 children who play on Sundays.
Both of these groups have access to the golf course on Sunday mornings.
For the moment, there are 26 children assiduously following the adventure.
Holiday courses and federal competitions are organised throughout the country, enabling these young children to get off the island and discover new horizons.

The acquisition of equipment
The acquisition of golf clothing
The recruitment of one or two teacher(s) to accompany the children on their travels
The organisation of holiday courses
The organisation of a third campaign
