This Association was created by Franck Bruno in February 2003
Its aim is to help and accompany people who have been recently amputated, by making them realise that life is still worth living, despite the amputation.
Bout de Vie organises courses at sea or in the mountains, with all sorts of sporting activities on the agenda. It also organises expeditions to the Antarctic, to Chile and to Argentina.
The René Lacoste Foundation has been asked to help 10 young people who have suffered amputation, enabling them to go on a week-long course with the Bout de vie association
